About this role

Position Highlights:

  • Position: ED Nurse
  • Location: Community Hospital
  • Schedule: 1 shift per week, 1 weekend a month

Responsibilities:

  • Assures patient care areas, triage and waiting room are well stocked, and clean and equipment and supplies are available.
  • Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Discharge patients utilizing individualized discharge plans.
  • Reporting concerns or changes in the patient's condition to the Medical Provider.
  • Gives report to the receiving nurse at shift change or with transfer or admission per policy.
  • Document patient information completely and per policy.
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and per policy.

 

Requirements:

  • RN License
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS Required
  • PALS/ENPC/TNCC within 6 months of hire

 

Compensation:

  • The anticipated compensation range for this position is $37.00 - $42.55 per hour, commensurate with qualifications, education, experience, and other applicable factors. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Additional compensation may be available in the form of discretionary incentive or other compensation programs. Any such additional compensation is not guaranteed and is determined at the sole discretion of the organization based on applicable program terms, individual and/or organizational performance, and other eligibility requirements.

Additional Information:

  • Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
  • Work Location: In-person/onsite
