Infrastructure Windows Engineer Intern Summary – Infrastructure - Windows Team

Windows Hosting Intern is responsible for providing entry-level technical support and assistance in managing Windows-based hosting environments. This role involves troubleshooting basic issues, monitoring system performance, and executing routine maintenance tasks under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for Windows hosting-related incidents.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of server and application issues.

  • Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and backups.

  • Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with Level 2 Engineers for issue resolution.

  • Document support activities and solutions for knowledge base.

Role Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Windows server environments.

  • Familiarity with server hardware and software components.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals) are a plus.
