Job Purpose/Description:
Sports Statistician and Writers will be part of the Saints Athletics sports information department and must be detail-oriented and have an understanding of the sport(s) to which they are assigned.

Candidates must be detail-oriented and have an understanding of the sport(s) to which they are assigned.
Candidates must be willing to do paid training, be committed to assignments, and be willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights/weekends. Additional hours will be available to set up/take down equipment at games.
Candidates must be available to work most, if not all home events for the sports they are applying to cover.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: writing content for the athletics Website and other publications (game/season previews, features, game recaps, and online biographies)
Required Qualifications
Must be a current or incoming CSS student. Federal work study eligibility is preferred (international students exempt).
This job does not require you to work games outside of Duluth (Sports that need coverage include football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, and baseball/softball.) Positions will work varied hours, and might include responsibilities before, during, and after athletic events. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have an understanding of the sport(s) to which they are assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience ins sports environments are preferred but not required. Those seeking careers in sports broadcasting, journalism, marketing are preferred and this will give you great hands on and relevant experience to help you break into the field.
