About the Role:
Coffee House Cafe in Dallas, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team part time! If you love crafting great coffee and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Join us 3 to 4 days a week and become a key part of our cafe community.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to cafe standards
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and cafe floor
- Accurately handle cash and POS transactions
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth cafe operations
Requirements:
- Previous barista or cafe experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule of 3 to 4 days per week
- Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions is a plus
