Job Title: Patient Flow and Transfer Specialist 

Reports to: Healing Arts Manager 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt  

 

Job Summary: The Patient Flow and Transfer Specialist assists guests when needed, ensures the spa area is stocked with supplies and amenities, and ensures the spa area is kept clean and orderly.  


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) 

  • Stocks treatment rooms with linen/amenities  
  • Services the needs of the clients with proficiency and a pleasant demeanor 
  • Maintains all general guest areas including supplies and cleanliness 
  • Greets and checks-in clients 
  • Escorts clients to retreat or resting areas 
  • Keeps the client informed and comfortable throughout their visit 
  • Assist the practitioners in contacting with their clients 
  • Properly opens and closes the facility each day according to standard operating procedure 
  • Attends training and meetings as needed 
  • Assists in all areas of the spa as needed 
  • Maintains immaculately clean lockers, locker rooms, and relaxation areas 
  • Maintains toiletries in retreat and shower areas 
  • Maintain necessary supply of linen, robes, and miscellaneous amenities for clients 
  • Maintain tea, water and coffee stations 
  • Assist practitioners with clean-up of treatment rooms 
  • Share knowledge of all spa services, treatments and programs with guests and encourage them to try new and additional services 
  • Be aware of special events taking place in our fertility and Healing Arts facilities 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CNY Healing Arts practices, culture, terminology, organizational structure and philosophy as well as how that philosophy should be portrayed in the professional appearance, behavior, and integrity and opened to guest and fellow employees 
  • Be aware of appearance, promptness with appointments, quality of work and attitude with clients 

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:  

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in spa like setting a plus. 

 

Language Ability: 

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

  • Strong verbal communication with guests.  
  • Must have good attention to detail with a strong eye appeal for neatness and cleanliness.  
  • Must have a professional appearance. 
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

Work is performed in a comfortable setting where it is quiet and dim light. There is some risk to exposure of bodily fluids or contagious diseases.  


This is a part-time position, with evening and weekend hours required.

May exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly move objects. Must be able to carry bags of dirty linens.
