JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
Responsible for outreach contacts with homeless mentally ill and/or co-occurring diagnosed individuals
- Assists in the provision of referrals and other services to eligible clients.
- Provides documentation of outreach activities and other services to eligible clients.
- Provides advocacy for homeless mentally ill and/or co-occurring diagnosed consumers
- Assists in filing and maintenance of charts and additional records for the program.
- Assists Program Participants in keeping intake and psychiatric evaluation appointments.
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
You must have lived experience with homelessness (which means you have experienced homelessness)
You must have lived experience with mental illness!
This position is Part-Time, Mon-Fri, 8 am -1 pm, No Weekends!
Education: High School Diploma / GED
Experience: Current or former consumer of mental health services, homeless services, alcohol, and drug services. Ability to follow supervision.
Preferred Experience: Experience working with mentally ill and or dually diagnosed adults. Knowledge of community resources.
Salary Range: $10.00 to $12.00 per hour.
