Workday Time Tracking Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking functionality
  • Gather business requirements from HR, Payroll, and Operations teams
  • Design and configure:
    • Time entry codes
    • Time calculation rules
    • Work schedules
    • Shift configurations
    • Overtime rules
    • Time approval workflows
  • Support time clock integrations and third-party vendor interfaces
  • Configure absence and leave integrations with Time Tracking
  • Maintain security roles and domain permissions related to time entry and approvals
  • Troubleshoot time calculation issues, missing punches, and approval errors
  • Perform system testing for new releases, enhancements, and patches
  • Support Workday bi-annual releases and regression testing
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for time and labor data
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Assist with data audits, compliance, and labor law requirements
  • Develop user training materials and conduct end-user training
  • Support production incidents and resolve tickets within SLA timelines

  • Experience with Workday HCM and Time Tracking modules
  • Understanding of Payroll and Absence Management
  • Knowledge of labor compliance regulations
  • Business process configuration experience
  • Report writing using Workday Report Writer
  • EIBs and integrations knowledge preferred
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Testing/UAT experience
  • Stakeholder communication skills
