We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:
$12.00-$15.00 an hour plus tips.

Responsible for properly checking in all Members and their Guests.

Greet each customer with a smile and a friendly greeting. Answering phone in a professional manner.

Book court times, training appointments and group fitness classes both in person and on the phone.

Be courteous and polite on the telephone as well as face to face contact.

Maintain positive relations and rapport with members and guests.

Be familiar with roles of all staff so that you can direct guests to the appropriate staff member.

Listen to guests inquiries and complaints and deal with them in a responsible and professional manner.

Assist in cleaning and straightening of the pro shop.

Assist with inventory controls and the sale of merchandise.

Fully understand the basic POS/ inventory system functions and procedures.

Promote upcoming events and programs to members and guests.

Making blended smoothies as well as preparing pre-assembled F&B Items from our Club Partner.

Pour wine, Beer, and Liquor, along with other beverages.

Wash glassware and utensils after each use.

Serve food to customers seated at the bar or in lounge veranda area.

Clean up after customers and clean work area.

Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.

Help manage inventory of beer/wine/other beverages, smoothie juice/add-ons, snacks, and bar supplies.

Know and enforce all the rules, policies, and procedures at the Club.

Follow and complete all opening and closing procedures established by the Club
Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous Customer Service Experience.

Previous Point of Sale experience.
Physical Demands:

Frequently stands and uses hands; reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears.

Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.

Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

TABC certified or able to obtain TABC certification upon hire and Food Handlers license.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Retail sales experience is preferred.

Computer proficiency including but not limited POS, Microsoft Office applications, social media and other programs related to tennis such as tennisdirector.com or Club Automation.
