Job DetailsJob Location: Classic Rock Mechanicsburg - Mechanicsburg, PA 17055Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 HourlyClassic Rock Fabrication is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for customers, vendors, applicants, employees, delivery personnel, and other visitors.

This position manages incoming communications, directs inquiries to the appropriate team members or locations, and provides administrative support that helps keep our offices running efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and interruptions while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

This position may be based at either of our Pittsburgh-area (Cranberry Township) or Mechanicsburg, PA locations

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls for all Classic Rock Fabrication locations, determine the purpose of each call, and direct callers to the appropriate employee, department, or location.
Gather complete caller information, answer general questions when appropriate, and accurately document and distribute messages requiring follow-up.
Greet customers, vendors, applicants, employees, delivery personnel, and other visitors; determine the purpose of their visit and notify or direct the appropriate team member.
Maintain a professional, helpful, and positive demeanor while handling routine, sensitive, or escalated interactions.
Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare mail, packages, deliveries, correspondence, and other incoming materials.
Assist with copying, scanning, faxing, printing, filing, document preparation, and other routine office requests.
Maintain company contact information, phone directories, office supplies, records, and other administrative materials as assigned.
Provide administrative support to departments and team members, assist with special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain the confidentiality of employee, customer, applicant, and company information in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy requirements.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality to ensure consistent front-office coverage.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed to support business operations.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain courteous, professional, and solution-focused in all interactions.
Ability to read and interpret emails, correspondence, policies, and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, by telephone, and in person with customers, vendors, employees, applicants, and other members of the public.
Ability to identify the nature of a caller or visitor request, gather relevant information, determine the appropriate resource, prioritize multiple requests, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to learn and effectively use multi-line phone systems, company software, and standard office equipment.
Strong data entry and computer navigation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee, customer, applicant, and company information.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality are required to provide consistent office coverage.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and walk throughout the office and design center as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone, use standard office equipment, and perform frequent typing and data entry.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work occasional evening and/or Saturday hours as needed to support business operations, front-office coverage, customer needs, or organizational needs.
