CKS Packaging is currently seeking technical blow molding candidates to support our manufacturing operations and molding departments. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and adjusting equipment for blow molding lines, including molds and assembly lines/equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment.
COMPETITIVE PAY BASED ON EXERIENCE AND SKILLS
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all blow molding equipment, including molds, robots, conveyors, auxiliary, and support equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance, quality defects, and production downtime.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility utilities
- Perform equipment adjustments, changeovers, and improvements to support production goals
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble and rebuild equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manual, rough sketches or drawings.
- Perform equipment modifications as directed.
- Maintain logs and records used in recording, tracking and improving equipment overall operation, maintaining Standards of Operation and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years technical experience in plastics manufacturing
- 6+ years Uniloy blow molding machinery experience
- Blow molding/injection mold maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience preferred, but not required.
- Troubleshooting in mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
- Experience in plastics processing is a plus.
- Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, engineering sketches, technical procedures, and SOPs.
3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00am (Monday through Friday, most Saturday's)
