Job Overview

The Power Platform Systems Engineer designs, develops, and manages solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel. This role partners with business units and stakeholders to turn complex requirements into intuitive, high‑performing digital tools. It requires strong technical skills, a creative and user‑focused approach, and the ability to independently build and optimize systems that enhance organizational efficiency. The engineer ensures compliance with governance standards while driving innovation through thoughtful solution design, enabling streamlined processes and actionable insights across the organization.

 

Salary range: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00. 


Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power BI dashboards, SharePoint sites, and automated workflows that support business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, security, and compliance with organizational governance and Microsoft Power Platform best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement of existing applications, reports, and business systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Program Management, Project Management, and other functional teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement.
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance existing applications and reporting solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Administer and support SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, permissions, and document management processes.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Strong creative and analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive, user-friendly designs.
  • Knowledge of data governance, solution architecture, and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

Preferred:

  • Certifications include Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL‑900), Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL‑200), Power Platform Developer (PL‑400), and Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator or SharePoint Administrator.
