About this role

Advintage Distributing is a fast-paced and growing wholesale distributor of wine, beer, spirits, and related categories. We’re hiring a full-time Compliance & Accounts Payable Specialist to help keep our expanding portfolio compliant and our vendor payments running smoothly. It’s a challenging role with real growth opportunities - and a direct hand in how the business runs.

This is a rare hybrid seat that blends two connected disciplines: beverage regulatory compliance and accounts payable. If you’re organized, Excel-savvy, and energized by owning processes end to end, you’ll thrive here. You don’t need to be an expert in both on day one - strength on one side and the drive to learn the other goes a long way.

What you’ll do

  • Manage brand & label registrations - submit, track, and organize Certificates of Label Approval (COLAs) and state brand registrations, and stay ahead of renewal deadlines.
  • Onboard new suppliers - guide them through registration and make sure compliance is complete before inventory arrives.
  • Own the accounts payable process - code and enter invoices, match purchase orders, run weekly checks, ACH, and wire payments, and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Keep our data clean - maintain and update compliance and accounting systems so the numbers and records can be trusted.
  • Audit and report - run regular audits, catch inaccuracies, and prepare reports that keep the team and management informed.
  • Improve how we work - follow the processes that keep us sharp and help build the new ones we need as we grow.

 What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (regulatory or beverage-industry compliance experience is a plus).
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the confidence to learn a new ERP system quickly.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to juggle and prioritize.
  • A self-starter who communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Positive, roll-up-your-sleeves energy - you show up ready to dive in.

 What we offer

  • Paid time off and health and disability insurance.
  • Eligibility to participate in a company 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Growth opportunities in a fast-moving, expanding company.
