Nonprofit Partnerships
About this role
Job Description
Chariot is building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure for the $600B that gets donated to charity each year. Tens of thousands of nonprofits are already onboarded, including American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and University of Pennsylvania, and demand from enterprise nonprofits is outpacing our ability to serve it.
Your job is to own Chariot's nonprofit partner relationships end-to-end, from prospecting through demo, signed contract, and long-term expansion, so nonprofits adopt Chariot as their donation infrastructure and grow payment volume on the platform.
This is an established sales motion: strong organic inbound, a huge market of large organizations, and buyers who are genuinely excited about the product. You'll be closing eager buyers at volume from day one.
What you'll do:
Own the nonprofit sales pipeline: prospect → demo → signed contract → upsell
Carry your own book within 6 months, on pace with the team
Steward and expand our top existing accounts
Serve as the primary point of contact for your partners, combining personalized support with scalable communications
Channel partner insights to the product team to inform roadmap and feature development
👤 About You
3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (required). You came up the AE ladder and have the quota attainment to show for it. Nonprofit tech or general SaaS backgrounds both work; sector experience is not required.
Relationship Builder – You're excellent with people and build trust quickly, even in bureaucratic or high-trust environments
Communication – Clear, engaging, concise, and persuasive, whether you're emailing a CFO or demoing to a product team
Resilience – You don't get discouraged by long cycles or initial rejection; you're persistent and patient
Hustle – You're scrappy, adaptable, and find creative ways to move deals forward
Curious & Strategic – You ask smart questions, spot opportunities others miss, and want to understand the full picture (product, roadmap, and infrastructure)
