Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Physical Therapist Aide Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center Outpatient Rehabilitation, you will support our Outpatient Rehab clinic.
Every day you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, clinical productivity, and a safe, welcoming environment for our patients.To be successful in this role, you must be Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to maintain productivity in a busy clinical environment. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) operating system following our organizational guidelines and HIPAA.
- Clinical Support: As needed, assist licensed therapists with patient care activities, including starting and stopping sessions as directed, to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly clinic environment, including sanitizing equipment before and after patient use and ensuring walkways and patient areas remain clear.
- Operations & Compliance: Manage inventory, place supply orders, handle linen requests, and maintain essential compliance logs.
- Administrative Assistance: Provide coverage, as needed, for the Customer Service Representative (CSR) during lunches, answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform patient reminder calls.
- Operational Flexibility: Assist management with special projects and adapt to clinic needs, including potential coverage at inpatient facilities.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate or High School GED
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Preferred
- Six months patient care experience
