Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. You’ll play a key role in installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems that help protect people and buildings every day.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
Install pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
Fabricate and assemble piping and sprinkler systems.
Complete required weekly paperwork, daily progress reports, and job documentation.
Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
Create red-line drawings and keep project documentation accurate.
Communicate project and schedule changes with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned.
⭐ What You Bring
High school diploma/GED.
3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
Basic computer and email skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen.
