Job Description:
Responsible for assisting the Near Site Warehouse Lead in all areas of label handling, documentation and inventory control. Handles the receipts, shipment and storage of label inventory both physically and electronically. Loads and unloads trucks as needed. Works in alignment with customer’s expectations and agreed upon targets.
Qualifications
Job Duties:
- Follow the safe operation and inspection of warehouse equipment and material movers as designated by CCL
- Responsible for the receipt and storage of all incoming materials.
- Available to attend meetings with customer at production site in the absence of the Near Site Lead.
- Assure accuracy in the shipments of labels to meet the customer schedule dates. Including the coordination with designated carriers to move the labels to the customer.
- Processing all customer callouts, insuring complete accuracy.
- Entering accurate data for the transactions through warehouse information systems.
- Maintain records, reports, logs, and documents as needed for CCL Plants
- Proficient in processing shipping documents
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form to the customer and CCL personnel.
- Maintain and present a professional appearance at all times.
- Prepare reporting to be used internally and externally.
- Responsible for cycle counting inventory and physical inventory counts as needed.
- Keep warehouse neat and orderly.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
Physical Requirements:
- Some heavy lifting required. Able to lift up to 30-60lbs. on a regular basis.
- Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
- Able to operate a forklift in compliance with OSHA regulations
Work Skill Requirements:
- Good math skills
- Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Experience in Excel worksheets
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
Education/Work Experience:
- High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
