About this role
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily maintenance and repairs on bindery folding machines & printing presses
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems on folding machines & printing presses
- Plan, schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on folding machines
- Perform building maintenance when needed
- Purchase parts and supplies
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Knowledge of scheduling preventative maintenance
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Basic electrical skills
- Basic pneumatic skills
- Basic knowledge of machine shop and welding
- Good mathematical skills and able to read, write and speak English
- Must be a team player with all departments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to maneuver in tight spaces.
- To do a lot of bending and reaching
- Ability to lift between 35-50 lbs.
- Ability to move heavy equipment
- Forklift and Hi Lo experience a plus
