About this role
We are looking for a reliable team member for a 3rd shift position in our Finishing Department.
Hours are Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am
Rate is $18.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
Set up RotoControl machine with blades and nip rollers. Work under a strobe light to review and inspect labels as they come off press for quality defects.
Use box cutters and scissors to cut the web to make splices with tape.
Qualifications
- Good mechanical skills
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Able to read and write English
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail. The candidate must have the ability to use, read and interpret scientific measurement and inspection tools devices.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus: visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20/20 is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Team player and good communication skills.
- Good attendance record.
- Ability to maintain highest safety standards.
- Ideally the candidate will have prior similar printing experience.
