Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Gain an understanding of various Outsourced Accounting Solutions (OAS) services and assist with multiple client work assignments
  • Ensure that transactions are accounted for in accordance with client policies and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Assist in back-office support services (i.e. accounts payable, payroll, billing, reconciliations, etc.)
  • Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual close and preparation of relevant work papers
  • Assist members of OAS team with ad hoc client work (e.g. creating templates, preparation of JEs, review of files, researching information etc.) as needed.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or working towards these degrees
  • Experience with the use of Quickbooks, Xero, and NetSuite, Bill.com, is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software
