Senior Manufacturing Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years of experience to own and scale the production of critical components for long-range hypersonic strike systems. You'll join a team of elite engineers at a company with real product-market fit, active government contracts, and a $23M+ Navy order for 50 units delivering in 2027. This is a 0-to-1 manufacturing environment where you'll drive the transition from prototype to scalable production of thousands of units per year. We need someone who has built and scaled manufacturing capacity—not just sustained it—and who thrives when given ownership over meaningful hardware.
What will you be doing?
Own a critical subsystem or component on the vehicle and drive its manufacturing success—defining processes, building capacity, and increasing reliability and efficiency
Develop and scale production processes for complex hardware (composites, solid rocket motors, bonding/epoxy, machined components, or specialty materials processing)
Transition development-stage manufacturing into production-ready assembly lines capable of delivering thousands of units per year
Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs
Partner with design engineers to drive DFM decisions and cultivate resources needed to hit production deliverables
