Senior Control Electronics Engineer

Rio Rancho +1 · On-site$150k – $200k + Equity

About this role

We are looking for a Senior Control Electronics Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design and deliver real-time electronic control systems for hypersonic strike vehicles. You'll be a hands-on engineer who personally owns hardware from design through bring-up, debug, validation, and integration — not someone who manages requirements from the sidelines. This is a high-impact role on a small, elite team building flight-critical systems at one of the fastest-moving defense companies in the country. If you have 3+ years from a top-tier startup and are exceptional, we want to talk to you too.

What will you be doing?

Designing control electronics boards (motor controllers, actuator drivers, feedback/control loops) for current and future flight vehicles

Owning your hardware end-to-end — from PCB design through bring-up, integration, debug, and production

Working with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal circuits with a focus on processing and real-time control

Collaborating closely with GNC, avionics, and flight software teams to ensure seamless system integration

Defining your own requirements and driving technical decisions — there are no systems engineers here, you own the full picture
