The Massage Therapist is responsible to provide various massages and body treatments with professionalism, personalized service, and hospitality to members, while building clientele and promoting the wellness center and the spa operations. The therapist consistently assists in providing information to any inquiries, helps to coordinate all member requests for services, and maintains impeccable cleanliness of the spa. This position is responsible to know, observe and enforce the Clubs safety & security policies and guidelines. This individual will embody the Carolina Country Employee Mission and Absolutes.

Job Functions include
Will provide direct spa service to members as scheduled, including, but not limited to administering all massages and related spa services to the highest level of service.
Prepare massage rooms, ensuring products are stocked up ready for each day.
Assures sanitation and cleanliness of massage room, surrounding areas and throughout the wellness center to club standards.
Will report to Senior Massage Therapist or Wellness Director on any training needs / requests.
To assist in checking off and unpacking stock upon arrival.
To ensure clients receive the maximum benefits from their treatments.
Pursues continuous development and education for himself or herself and for subordinates to enhance image, quality and offerings of the department.
To provide thorough after care advice, including detailed recommendations to the members.
Prepares and monitors operating and capital budgets; takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
Completes appropriate assignments made by the Senior Massage Therapist or Wellness Director.
Performs miscellaneous office responsibilities.
Completes required computer based training courses through ThinkHR within the required time frame.
Is responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.
Enforces club rules and policies, especially those pertaining to safety and conduct in the athletic areas.
To achieve retail targets as set by the Country Club.
QualificationsWorking Conditions, Physical Functions and Abilities:

Must have a degree from a school accredited by the American Massage Therapy Association.
High school or equivalent education required.
CPR certified, current at all time
Advanced knowledge of standard anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the spa.
Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent club data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
Capable of standing for long periods at a time and capable of maneuvering independently and safely around work areas.
This person must be high-performing, outgoing and service-oriented with excellent communication skills. She/he must be able to work independently, taking initiative and prioritizing responsibilities.
Must have the ability to get along well with others and demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people to responsibly work with people while using safety and security as the most important dynamic.
Must be able to stand, sit, crouch, kneel, bend and reach.
