About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to join our team in a full-time capacity . In this role, you will facilitate the end-to-end design, development, debugging, and validation of production-ready Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to internal stakeholder needs. Additionally, you will build and publish high-impact, professional-grade client-facing reporting solutions leveraging both Power BI and Sigma Computing. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in data modeling and visualization with a quality-first mindset and a rapid ability to master cloud analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Engineering: Design, build, optimize, and publish high-performance, interactive dashboards and KPI scorecards in Power BI Desktop/Service and Sigma Computing.
• Sigma Analytics Enablement: Leverage Sigma Computing to enable self-service analytics workflows, spreadsheet-style data modeling, and direct cloud warehouse querying for users.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner directly with internal stakeholders and business teams to gather, refine, and translate complex functional requirements into intuitive reporting solutions.
• Data Modeling & Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain robust dimensional data models (Star Schemas), write advanced DAX calculations, and execute data transformations in Power Query / SQL.
• Client-Facing Delivery: Develop polished, professional-grade visual reports for external clients, ensuring rigorous standards for data precision, report refresh speed, and executive visual storytelling.
• Testing & Validation: Perform end-to-end testing, validation, and debugging of reports and underlying data logic to ensure absolute data consistency and integrity.
• Security & Governance: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and adhere to enterprise data governance standards across all published reports and datasets.

Qualifications

• Core Experience: 3+ years of hands-on, fluent experience with Power BI (advanced DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling, performance tuning, and workspace administration).
• Sigma Computing Exposure: Hands-on experience or demonstrated ability to learn and adopt Sigma Computing rapidly (building worksheets, visual pages, and direct cloud connections).
• Advanced SQL: Proven proficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and views to support analytics feeds.
• Algorithmic & Logical Thinking: Strong foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the ability to read pseudocode to translate complex business logic into efficient queries.
• Critical Thinking: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate ambiguous business logic, identify root causes, and validate data accuracy.
• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks; views technical challenges not as blockers, but as opportunities for continuous improvement.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Power Automate: Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation, alert triggers, and scheduled distribution.
• Python : Scripting capability for statistical analysis, data cleaning, or custom ETL logic.
• Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake,BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD BI deployment pipelines.
