Maintenance Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Location: Ocala, FL

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automated manufacturing equipment throughout the facility. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Essential Responsibilities

· Perform emergency, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, HMI, robotics, and automated systems.

· Maintain conveyor systems, overhead cranes, material handling equipment, and other industrial machinery.

· Perform electrical maintenance on 480V three-phase, high-voltage DC, and 24VDC systems.

· Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.

· Conduct inspections and support equipment upgrades and engineering projects.

· Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with OSHA and company safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 years of experience with automated systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.

· Preferred 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

· Strong electrical troubleshooting experience including 480V three-phase systems.

· Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, automation controls, and robotics.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from vertical lifts, up to 30 feet.

· Basic Microsoft Windows computer skills and file management experience.

· Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

· Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Work Environment

· Exposure to noise, heat, dust, fumes, machinery, and moving equipment.

· Potential exposure to outdoor weather conditions and commercial chemicals.

· Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
