JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, treatment, and care management services for adult home health patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops individualized treatment plans, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and delivers evidence-based services that support patient independence, safety, and optimal functional outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A graduate of a Master's or Doctorate program in Speech-Language Pathology(SLP), and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State of Texas.
- Possesses and maintains American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
- Minimum of one (1) years' clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience in a Home Health, preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
