Position Summary:

 

The Traveling Field Accounting Administrator rovides administrative support services in a fast paced and detailed environment to the Site Manager and management team as required in an efficient, timely, and professional manner for day-to-day business activities at site. 

 

Technical/Functional Responsibilities: 

  • Prepares and processes project-related payables and receivables
  • Administers timekeeping and payroll records and processing
  • Maintains and monitors employee Swipe Card, time clock, or sign-in systems
  • Inputs and balances daily timesheets
  • Research and resolve all reconciliation discrepancies between our system and customers
  • Ensure invoice accuracy
  • Proactive in getting customer approvals for all 3rd party systems and/or signed invoices
  • Maintains employee force reports
  • Accounts Payable, process invoices and expenses
  • Receives, verifies, processes, and forwards unemployment insurance claim forms to appropriate employment representative
  • Responds to employment verifications requests in accordance with company policy
  • Maintains weekly payroll files
  • Documents and maintains weekly/monthly reports as required by the Site Manager
  • Handles highly confidential, sensitive and/or critical information, files, records, and reports
  • Other duties as directed by Supervision

 

Qualifications:

  • Willing to Travel 90% time of the time
  • Minimum 2 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience; preferred 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to multitask
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines
