PURPOSE:

The Blending Team Member position is responsible for preparing blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure efficient execution of the Blend or Bulk fluids schedule
  • Prepare blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all base oil and additive inventory
  • Inventory count and reconciliation
  • Coordinate with maintenance to ensure adequate time is allotted for scheduled maintenance and/or repairs
  • Organize warehouse for cleanliness and safety at all times
  • Maintain all safety standards, including wearing PPE as required
  • Initiate corrective and preventative actions as needed
  • Supports the strategic and operational direction of the business
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of six months experience in a blending/packaging role
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment assessment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • SAP experience
