About this role
Responsible for keeping the grounds and backside barn/stall area maintained with a clean, neat, and orderly appearance.
Responsibilities
Blowing out stalls and following up with washing down the stalls with a hose.
Hanging silks in preparation of evening races.
Ensuring all stalls are neat and orderly at end of shift.
Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of employees and guests at all times.
Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
Work area consists of all facilities on property.
Able to work around horses and confined areas.
Exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
Varied weather conditions, fumes, and chemicals used in maintenance.
High School Graduate

Walking 25%
Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
