As a Freelancer, PowerPoint (PPT) Graphic Designer, your role will be to create visually compelling and professionally designed presentations for a variety of projects, including scientific and technical content. You will utilize your design expertise to develop engaging PowerPoint slides, incorporating animation, graphics, and layout techniques to elevate the visual storytelling. Additionally, you will design supplementary materials like flyers, social media banners, infographics, posters, and graphical abstracts using PowerPoint. Your work will involve understanding client briefs, crafting design concepts, and delivering polished presentations that align with the client’s expectations and branding guidelines. If you can read, understand, and work with Japanese, Chinese, and/or Korean content, it will be considered an added advantage.
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations with advanced animations, transitions, and layouts to effectively communicate key messages.
- Create graphical abstracts, flyers, social media banners, infographics, and posters in PowerPoint, ensuring consistency across different formats.
- Understand client briefs and objectives, translating requirements into visually engaging presentations and graphical abstracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers and marketing consultants, to enhance the visual narrative.
- Ensure adherence to design principles, maintaining a clean and professional look across all deliverables.
- Review peers and freelancers’ outputs, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and delivery-readiness.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, including animations, transitions, and slide templates, with experience creating presentations, graphical abstracts, infographics, social media creatives, and flyers.
- Strong understanding of design principles such as balance, alignment, contrast, and visual hierarchy; familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or Mind the Graph is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with scientific content experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work as per project requirements.
- Ability to review and provide timely, constructive feedback on the work of peers and freelancers.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer needs and incorporate them into deliverables.
- Open to learning, adapting to change, exploring new skills, and keeping up with evolving tools and industry trends.
