About this role

This is an on-site position. Candidates must be based in the Los Angeles area.

At Brighton, every product has a story—and we’re looking for a talented Videographer and Visual Storyteller to help us bring those stories to life. From the intricate details of how our products are designed and made, to fashion films, product launches and the inspirations behind our iconic collections, there is always another story to tell. Maybe it began with a beautiful place, an extraordinary museum, a meaningful moment in a designer’s life, or an unexpected treasure discovered while traveling. We want someone who is curious enough to uncover those stories—and creative enough to translate them into compelling video.

If you love fashion, product, storytelling and creating beautiful visual content, we’d love to see your work. Please send us your résumé and, most importantly, your fashion and commercial video reel.

What You’ll Do

You’ll create video content across Brighton’s e-commerce, social media, seasonal campaigns, daily product launches, live events, internal communications and special projects.

  • Concept, direct, shoot and edit compelling product, fashion and lifestyle video content.

  • Collaborate closely with designers and creative partners to uncover the inspiration, craftsmanship and stories behind our products.

  • Translate those stories into engaging content that feels distinctly Brighton.

  • Create everything from polished campaign and product videos to social reels, behind-the-scenes content and quick-turn storytelling.

  • Capture and edit content for multiple platforms, formats and aspect ratios.

  • Manage multiple projects and versions simultaneously while meeting fast-paced production schedules.

  • Bring a strong eye for composition, lighting, movement, pacing, color and sound.

  • Create and incorporate motion graphics when needed.

  • Maintain consistency in brand look, feel and storytelling across every piece of content.

  • Organize and manage video assets using professional file-naming, version-control, archiving and delivery practices.

  • Help maintain production equipment and video inventory.

  • Stay current on evolving video, fashion and social-media trends—and bring fresh ideas to the team.

  • Receive feedback thoughtfully, contribute your own creative point of view and always look for a path to “yes.”

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of professional video production and editing experience.

  • Fashion experience is required.

  • A strong commercial reel/portfolio demonstrating excellent visual storytelling, particularly for fashion, accessories, beauty or other consumer products.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, including editing, color correction/grading, sound editing and delivery for multiple platforms.

  • Experience with Adobe Media Encoder.

  • Strong understanding of professional digital workflows, including codecs, file organization, naming conventions, media management, version control, archiving and delivery specifications.

  • Ability to work independently—from developing a creative approach through shooting, editing and final delivery.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to present creative ideas and explain your work.

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom or Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, and Frame.io or similar review/asset-management platforms is preferred.

  • Photography and graphic-design experience are a plus.

Compensation

Base Salary: $70,500–$78,000

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and other applicable factors.

Please Submit your résumé and video reel. We are especially interested in seeing work that demonstrates your ability to tell compelling stories through fashion and product video.
