Role Summary

The Senior Manager Channel & Business Development drives channel growth, customer development and strategic business initiatives across the Central Europe Region. The role is responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, leading a team of Key Account Managers and Trainees, and ensuring strategic alignment across commercial functions.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales, volume and profitability targets for assigned key accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and strengthen strategic customer and partner relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead network development and business growth initiatives.
  • Manage contract negotiations with key partners.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and business alignment.

Required Qualifications and Professional Experience

Education, Master's Degree, Other Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Additional qualifications in Sales or Business Development are advantageous.

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and key account management.
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex international customers.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Strong background in sales, business development and channel management.
  • Solid project management and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset.

Language Skills

  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Additional European language skills are an advantage.
