Estimated Total Compensation: $52,379 – $68,402+ annually (Includes base salary of $46,879 - $51,402 + up to $5,000 supplemental pay + $500 - $12,000 voter-approved local referendum supplement)

The Role

As our Academic Interventionist (MTSS Teacher), you will focus your talent where it is needed most: delivering targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 small-group instruction to help students close learning gaps, master grade-level standards, and achieve long-term academic success.

What You Will Do

• Targeted Instruction: Plan and lead standards-aligned, small-group intervention lessons for students performing below grade level.
• Progress Monitoring: Collect and analyze formative and summative data to track student growth, adjust instructional strategies, and support school MTSS team meetings.
• Student Support: Partner closely with classroom teachers, counselors, and families to support diverse learners (ESE, 504, ELL) and maintain a structured, positive learning environment.
• Professional Growth: Participate in targeted professional development, coaching sessions, and designated beginning- and end-of-year extended weeks to strengthen campus MTSS systems.

Year 1 Success Goals

• 70%+ of assigned students demonstrate grade-level mastery in core content.
• 80%+ of Tier 2 students show measurable, documented growth toward their intervention goals.
• Maintain strong classroom culture with minimal behavior referrals and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.
• Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Professional or Temporary Teaching Certification.
• Endorsement: Reading Endorsement required.
