About the Role

Love meeting new people and being part of the excitement of live events? We're hiring Ticket Takers to welcome guests and help create a great experience from the moment they arrive.

As a Ticket Taker, you'll greet guests, scan tickets, answer basic questions, and help keep entry lines moving smoothly. No ticket scanning experience? That's okay - training is provided!

What You'll Do

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude

• Scan and validate tickets using handheld scanning equipment

• Help keep entry lines organized and moving efficiently

• Assist guests with venue access, seating sections, and general directions

• Report invalid or problem tickets to the Ticket Taker Lead

• Arrive 30-60 minutes before doors open to assist with program inserts and entry setup

• Remain at your assigned entrance during guest arrival

• Follow venue safety and emergency procedures

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years or older

• Customer service, hospitality, or event experience preferred but not required

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests

• Comfortable learning handheld ticket scanning equipment

• Able to stand for extended periods in a busy event environment

• English-speaking required; bilingual candidates preferred

• Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must pass a client-required background check

Preferred Experience

• Performing arts, entertainment venue, or convention center experience

• Digital ticketing, barcode, or QR scanning experience

• Bilingual English/Spanish or another language is a plus
