Potential Full-Time Opportunity for a Strong Performer!
Hospitality Services Group (HSG) is hiring an experienced Cook to join a busy healthcare food service team.
If you know your way around a professional kitchen, can handle short-order cooking, follow recipes, and prepare food in larger batches, we want to hear from you!
The current assignment is expected to continue through the end of August/beginning of September, with the potential to become a full-time opportunity for a strong performer.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare food according to recipes and established standards
- Handle made-to-order tickets and short-order cooking
- Prepare burgers and other menu items
- Complete daily food prep
- Prepare large-batch items
- Prepare trays and replenish food as needed
- Maintain food quality and proper portions
- Keep your station clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For:
- Previous professional cooking experience REQUIRED
- Comfortable with short-order and batch cooking
- Able to read and follow recipes independently
- Fast, organized, and quality-focused
- Dependable and punctual
- Reliable transportation
