The Marketing Lead Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing Brandt’s lead generation and qualification processes to drive high-quality sales opportunities and revenue growth across all product lines. This role focuses on improving data accuracy, reporting, and lead management to support sales effectiveness and overall business performance.

What You Will Be Responsible For 

  • Capture sales leads generated through Brandt’s marketing and sales tactics, qualify them, and coordinate the proper response from Brandt’s Sales Team on a timely basis. 
  • Prompt follow up on any inbound inquiries that you can answer. Any that you cannot answer are promptly forwarded on to the correct person within Brandt for follow-up. 
  • Maintain internal Sales Team lead distribution lists. 
  • Develop and optimize our marketing lead follow-up process to minimize response time and maximize close rate. 
  • Maintain customer lead records in Brandt’s CRM, ensuring records are accurate, current, and relevant. 
  • Provide lead or customer lists for marketing and sales purposes – direct mailings, events invitation lists, territory splits, email marketing, etc. – contingent on pre-determined approval. 
  • Conduct reporting, analysis, and trend identification on sales leads to enable data-driven decisions to the Marketing & Sales Teams to increase the quality and quantity of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) as well as the proportion that convert into sales. 
  • Work with platform development teams (internal and vendor teams) to build and optimize the tools utilized for lead generation management. 
  • Build scorecards and dashboard to drive accountability and performance across the sales organizations 
  • Optimize lead management process to drive higher closure rates of all lead types 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by your manager. 

Key performance metrics:  

  • Quantity of inbound leads generated. 
  • Quality of inbound leads generated. 
  • Change in closure rate period-to-period 
  • Response rate between when a lead submits their request and someone from Brandt contacts them. 
  • Customer satisfaction level from polled leads – how happy are customers with their interaction with Brandt through the lead process. 
  • Sales Team satisfaction level – how happy is Brandt’s Sales Team with the lead gen process and the quality of leads being presented to them. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What We Look For 

  • Strong understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales & Marketing Pipeline management best practices. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – valuable for internal communication across the Sales Team as well as customer communication when qualifying leads. 
  • Advanced data analysis skills – valuable for identifying trends in lead data and building reporting for stakeholders. 
  • Skilled in process management and optimization – important to manage process as lead volume and our sales team increases in size. 
  • Detail oriented – missed lead details can result in missed sales opportunities and misrepresented data and reporting. 
  • Ability to problem solve – Every inbound lead will be somewhat different. Learning how to problem solve as they arrive will be valuable.
