We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal I to join our growing team. As a Paralegal I, you will work closely with attorneys, management, and support staff to manage foreclosure matters, support legal proceedings, and help clients mitigate loss while minimizing legal risk.

What You'll Do

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, and processing of legal documents related to foreclosure proceedings.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify the accuracy of information entered in legal systems and court filings.
  • Prepare and file legal documents in accordance with court rules, client requirements, and statutory deadlines.
  • Coordinate and communicate with courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated inquiries from clients, attorneys, court personnel, and internal team members.
  • Maintain accurate case records and update client systems in compliance with client and firm standards.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely progression of assigned foreclosure matters.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of paralegal, legal assistant, mortgage servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or related legal experience preferred.
  • Experience with foreclosure case management systems, including BlackKnight, is a plus.
  • Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
