About this role

Job Description

In this role you will oversee Blue Cross NC’s Vendor Integration program for clients requesting employer-specific integrations with their third-party vendors. Provide full end-to-end program management including strategic planning, needs analysis, resource development, implementation oversight, and ongoing monitoring and optimization. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on vendor integration initiatives to positively impact the group market offer and relationships with our clients and agency partners.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Blue Cross NC’s employer-specific Vendor Integration offerings, including integration options, pricing, and intake forms and processes.

  • Oversee all employer-specific vendor integrations at the enterprise level, including tracking all active, requested and in-progress vendor integrations and taking action to address any identified issues. Ensure that existing integrations are updated or terminated as client needs or client/vendor/agency partnerships change.

  • Identify, analyze and understand client goals and the specific requirements for each new vendor integration request. Ensure that new vendor integration requests are triaged quickly and routed to the appropriate team to implement.

  • Develop and manage relationships with both internal partners and external stakeholders to successfully implement and maintain highly complex vendor integrations to meet the needs of our clients.

  • Coordinate interdepartmental functions to minimize implementation delays; work with program/project team members on a regular basis to review deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Oversee and optimize all data integration processes for group-contracted third-party vendors, including ensuring that the appropriate fees are charged to support these integrations. Serve as the primary point person to address questions and concerns about these processes (including integration options, pricing/billing, status and issue triage).

  • Drive program enhancements and process improvements through proactive consultation and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Lead a cross-functional group vendor integration team in maintaining a centralized repository of all active, in-progress and terminated group vendor integrations, identifying interdependencies, communicating program requirements, tracking progress, making decisions, and resolving conflicts and issues.

  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and goals for the Vendor Integration program, including process measures, outcomes measures and financial measures. Document and present program results through operational reports, outcomes studies, presentations and publications.

  • Direct the development and maintenance of plans, practices and assignments to identify, quantify and contain the occurrence and potential impact of risks and risk events on the execution of the Vendor Integration program and Sales Intake projects, and their likelihood of success.

  • Develop and manage budgets to control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations, together with the conformance to timing, limits and usage of funding as agreed upon in the spending plan for the assigned program(s).

  • Ensure the program meets appropriate regulatory and accreditation standards, fully cooperates with organizational governance functions and provides oversight for the definition and exercise of regular iteration and reporting required by organizational governance policies.
