About this role

Description

Operations Manager | Forney, TX

Run the branch. Own the results. Build something that's yours.

Infinity Texas Air has been Forney's home comfort company since 2010 — built from the ground up, still run by people who answer the phone, and backed by a customer base most shops would kill for. The HVAC book is deep and steady, plumbing is growing, and the branch is ready for a leader who wants to take it from good to the one everyone else measures themselves against.

That's the job. Not a sit-behind-a-desk role and not a caretaker seat. You'll run the day-to-day the way you'd run your own company — the board, the techs, the numbers, the customer experience — with the freedom to make the calls and a growing platform behind you when you need it.

If you know residential HVAC cold, understand plumbing, and get a kick out of turning a good team into a great one, keep reading.

What You'll Own

  • The daily operation — service, install, and dispatch — as the branch's operational leader and go-to
  • Revenue, margin, and production, with expectations and accountability set across the team
  • A 5-star customer experience at every touchpoint, holding a Google rating of 4.8 or better
  • Schedules, labor costs, and resource allocation, tuned for performance
  • Budgets, expenses, and the branch's financial results
  • The KPIs that matter: revenue, close rate, average ticket, productivity, margin
  • Recruiting, training, and developing HVAC and plumbing techs, installers, and support staff
  • Performance reviews and coaching that actually move people forward
  • Board integrity, routing, and daily capacity, in partnership with dispatch
  • A safe, positive, accountable shop where people want to show up
  • Quality control that protects the reputation the branch has built
  • ServiceTitan, used the right way across service, install, and dispatch

Requirements

 What You Bring

  • 3+ years leading in residential HVAC service or installation; plumbing experience a plus
  • Texas plumbing license (Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master) — a strong plus
  • Real understanding of residential service, install, sales, and how a branch makes money
  • P&L or department budget experience in a residential service environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applicable codes - required
  • Strategic enough to see the year, hands-on enough to fix today
  • Organized, disciplined, and direct — you motivate people and you hold them accountable
  • ServiceTitan strongly preferred; field service software required
  • Experience leading through growth and change preferred
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

What's In It For You

  • $80,000–$120,000+ base, dependent on experience and licensing — the more you bring, the higher it goes
  • Quarterly performance bonuses tied to the numbers you drive
  • Additional discretionary performance bonuses for going above and beyond
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Company vehicle, phone, and tablet
  • A clear path up inside a growing, multi-brand platform
  • Real ownership of an established branch — your decisions, your results
