McWilliams is hiring an HVAC Installer in Sugar Land, TX. We’re open to a range of experience for this role — from install helpers ready to grow into the trade, to seasoned installers and leads who can run a job from start to finish. What You'll Do
- 1 year of HVAC installer or install helper | residential HVAC systems — units, ductwork, line sets, and accessories
- Run or assist on installs depending on your experience level
- Deliver clean, code-compliant work and verify system performance before leaving the job
- Mentor or learn from the crew around you, depending on where you're at
- Represent McWilliams professionally in every home
What We're Looking For
- Installers of all levels — lead installer, installer, or install helper
- Experienced candidates ready to lead jobs and entry-level helpers willing to learn are both encouraged to apply
- Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
Requirements
What you need
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior HVAC install experience preferred (helpers willing to learn welcome)
- Must be at least 22 (company vehicle insurance requirement)
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more and work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas in varying temperatures
- Unlicensed? No problem — we'll help you earn your credentials
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
