Job Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and smooth coordination with other hotel departments. This role supports and leads front desk staff while maintaining high service standards and resolving guest concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional guest service at all times.
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and billing accuracy.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Monitor room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels.
  • Assist with front desk operations during peak times.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of hotel front desk experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
