The Operations Manager will oversee the manufacturing of beverages, ensuring quantity and
quality requirements are met.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff within the department.
Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with
company policy.
Maintains safety/environmental self-audits & visual checks, champions all safety or
ergonomic activities for the department and helps to develop and meet plant safety
goals.
Maintains adequate knowledge of products and equipment to ensure the ability to
direct employees to perform the job properly.
Enforce all plant food safety, GMP, personnel safety and company policies.
Maintain or exceed goals on yields and efficiencies.
Oversees production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipment targets
are met.
Collaborates with purchasing department to verify, review, maintain, and report on
materials and production inventories.
Facilitates and authorizes any repairs or maintenance required for production tools
and equipment.
Identifies and recommends cost controls and other improvements to the production
process.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
5+ years of manufacturing experience required.
Experience in Beverage production required.
Previous manufacturing experience required.
Experience in safety and quality preferred.
Minimum of High School Degree or GED required, College Degree preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment.
Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive
motions. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Constant exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and
soybeans
Constant operation of a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy
machine, etc.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time.
Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
