BL is expanding and seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician. The Ideal candidate has 3+ years of relative SUE experience. As well as being prepared to work in the field, performing utility mark-out (locating, subsurface utility engineering) activities. This role may require travel to project sites wherever needed to support business and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Electronic detection of subsurface utilities
Record research
Documenting work through the preparation of sketches, spreadsheets or written reports
Ability to work without direct supervision is required

Qualifications

3+ years relative SUE experience-or utility mark out is a plus
Comprehensive understanding of utility systems and layout is a plus
Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) operation is a plus
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) operation is a plus
Experience with CADD drafting is a plus.
Mechanical inclination preferred.
Electric or plumbing experience is helpful.

The position has a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000. Your offer would be based on your experience, skills, and fit for the role.
