Responsibilities:
- Work in an outdoor environment providing general labour duties
- Conducting work in bag collectors
- Landscaping, salting, and snow removal on company grounds
- Cleaning (garbage, debris other waste) and painting in various areas of the plant
- Clean up of spills on the plant grounds (carbon black, oil etc.)
- Assisting the maintenance team with various jobs around the plant
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with apprenticeship/trade school preferred
- Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing facility is considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude is considered and asset for this role
- Highly flexible, proactive and self-motivated
- Commitment to safety and the environment
Work Conditions/Schedule
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs and work in an outdoor environment
- This position is a straight day shift working Monday-Friday, 8 hour days.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Overtime as required
