The placement opportunity includes the following departments and positions: Department: Orientation Position: Onboarding Duration: 0.5 month Job Description: During this orientation phase, the trainee will receive a comprehensive introduction to our company, local community, and business strategies. They will learn about our customers, culture, payroll schedules, local training areas, housing options, transportation, and more. This orientation will provide a solid foundation for the trainee as they embark on their training journey. Department: Culinary Position: Bread Baker Duration: 3 months Job Description: Under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef and Baker Leader, the trainee will learn the art of baking various items, managing dough in different environments, portioning and shaping dough, and preparing specialty items according to our recipes. They will also develop essential knife skills and work as part of a team, assisting other chefs and addressing their needs. Department: Culinary Position: Pastry Demi Chef Duration: 4.5 months Job Description: In this rotation, the trainee will be immersed in the world of pastry at our Michelin starred restaurants. They will receive training on our current menus, including pastry staples, plated desserts, frozen foams, and decorations. The trainee will also learn essential skills such as product care, shelf life management, proper rotation, consolidation, and inventory tracking. Effective communication with the Pastry Chef regarding ingredient ordering will be emphasized. Department: Culinary Position: Pastry Chef de Partie Duration: 4 months Job Description: As a Chef de Partie, the trainee will be responsible for setting up the pastry station at our Michelin starred restaurant, preparing items for service, plating desserts in a timely manner, maintaining a smooth service flow, and ensuring the station's cleanliness. Collaboration with the pastry kitchen and adhering to our closing standards will be essential.

Requirements

- you are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR
- you have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR
- you have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
- you have shown consistent career growth over the last years
- you have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
