Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cefla Technician to join our high-performing Finish Department. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, possess a keen eye for detail, and are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll utilize specialized finishing tools and work with high-end finishes as part of a dedicated team focused on producing cabinetry that exceeds Bellmont’s quality standards.

What You’ll Do

Scuff cabinet components to enhance the natural wood grain texture.
Identify surface or coating defects on parts and determine appropriate repairs.
Unload cabinet components from the finishing line and load them onto carts for transfer to the next stage of production.
Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to support production flow and maintain high finish quality.
Maintain your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and finish integrity.
Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.

QualificationsWhat You Bring

Prior finishing, painting, or woodworking experience is a plus; however, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Ability to recognize and resolve common finishing issues, including areas that have been sanded too much or not enough, as well as surface imperfections.
Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate and report quality concerns.
Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and chemical labels.
A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
