Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

Location: Boston, MA or Pittsfield, MA

Purpose/Objective:

Acts as administrator of the Retirement and Health Savings deposit accounts. Serves as an IRA and Health Savings Account resource for all customer service teams to ensure high level of productivity, excellent customer service, and that transactions are handled according to procedure and comply with tax and regulatory requirements. Participates and completes IRA and Health Savings assignments during system conversions, upgrades, and acquisitions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitors bank-wide IRA and Health Savings Account transactions to ensure a high level of quality customer service while complying with procedures and regulations. Tracks errors and provides feedback to customer service teams. Handles customer inquiries and resolves issues, serves as a resource to customer service teams regarding IRA and Health Savings. Keeps abreast of IRA and Health Savings Account regulations, maintains and updates procedures to ensure compliance with banking laws, and regulations, and communicates to staff and customer service teams. 50%
  • Participates in IRA and Health Savings Account projects for product development, implementation and system conversion or upgrades. Responsible for all customer communication regarding IRA or Health Savings Accounts. Reviews all marketing materials and maintains and updates IRA and Health Savings Account forms and procedures as needed. 25%
  • Ensures compliance and timely processing of IRA and Health Savings accounts annual statements and tax documents. 20%
  • Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties. 5%

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Retirement account administration experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Knowledge in IRA, Health Savings Accounts, and pensions preferred
