Job description:
Butler and College, LLC seeks a Real Estate Paralegal to support the Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina office for the attorneys and paralegals, as well as handle other office duties.
Responsibilities:
-Answer phones, respond to emails and manage client inquiries
-Assist paralegal/attorneys with duties
-Recording and Post Closing duties
-Open and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
-Schedule and manage office calendar and appointments
-Perform administrative functions related to filing, mailing, data entry, and document production
-Greet clients, offer coffee or water, and seat them in conference rooms
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a real estate paralegal, closing coordinator, or similar role
- Knowledge of South Carolina closing practices and title requirements
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with closing software (Qualia is preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- A collaborative team player with a professional, client-focused demeanor
