Engineering Supervisor – Utility-Scale Solar + BESS (Texas) 📐☀️
We are hiring! Basis North America is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineering Supervisor to drive technical excellence and ensure full design integrity for our utility-scale renewable energy assets in Texas.
This senior position bridges the gap between complex engineering design and successful construction/commissioning execution.
Key Responsibilities & Scope

Engineering Oversight: Lead and coordinate all engineering activities dedicated to large-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.

Technical Interface: Serve as the critical link and interface between engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project workflow.

Design & Compliance: Conduct comprehensive design reviews and technical compliance verifications across all phases.

Technical Solutions: Manage Technical Queries (TQs) and resolve engineering deviations efficiently in the field.
Requirements

Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of engineering experience specifically within utility-scale energy projects.

Technical Focus: Proven capability overseeing integrated Solar PV and/or BESS developments.

Codes & Standards: Strong familiarity with applicable industry codes including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and specific Texas regulatory requirements.
