About this role
What We're Looking For: The Construction
Administrator serves as the owner's and design professional's
representative during construction, providing leadership, oversight, and
coordination to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract
documents, design intent, quality standards, and client expectations. This role
manages construction phase activities, facilitates communication among project
stakeholders, reviews submittals and RFIs, resolves field issues, and supports
successful project delivery from pre-construction through closeout. The preferred location for
this position is Nashville, TN, however, Orlando, Florida and remote U.S.-based
candidates will also be considered. Because this role supports projects across
Barge's national footprint, regular travel to project sites throughout the
United States, including overnight stays, is required. This position will primarily
support healthcare facility projects, requiring an understanding of healthcare
construction environments, stakeholder coordination, regulatory considerations,
operational continuity, and the unique challenges associated with construction
in active healthcare settings. Experience supporting hospitals, medical office
buildings, ambulatory care facilities, specialty healthcare facilities, or
other healthcare-related construction projects is highly desirable. Experience with
Florida AHCA State Health entity is also highly desirable. The ideal candidate brings
strong construction administration experience, sound technical judgment, and
the ability to effectively lead project coordination efforts in dynamic field
environments. Success in this role requires a collaborative, client-focused
professional who can build strong relationships with owners, contractors,
architects, engineers, healthcare administrators, and project stakeholders
while driving projects forward with a commitment to quality, safety, service
excellence, and minimal disruption to ongoing facility operations. Responsibilities
