AZ Drivers are the heart of our distribution centers and are critical to the fulfillment of our customer orders. Our Drivers will be responsible for the delivery of materials using a commercial vehicle and are required to have a CDL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform pre-trip inspection

· Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle using Material Handling Equipment

· Verify all product loads for quantity and also quality prior to departure

· Ensure truck is road ready by verifying the load is secure and adheres to all FMCS standards

· Utilizing navigation technology to determine optimal route

· Maintain and update all mileage records

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· AZ driver license with clean CVOR required

· Company insurable CDL License required – must pass MVR Review

· Knowledge of load capacity, safety guidelines and general maintenance of CDL truck

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization

· Self-motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook

· Strong organizational skills and legible handwriting

· Attention to detail; accurate data entry skills, basic math and reading

· Independent, flexible, creative, responsible, strong calculation, and problem-solving skills

· Must be very detail oriented and meticulous in how work is performed

· Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook

· Act legally and ethically in all professional relationships in adherence with Barentz’ purpose, strategies, and values
